Bucky joined Kessinger/Hunter in 1957 after serving as an officer in the United States Navy. He specializes in both commercial real estate brokerage and property management. Bucky graduated from the University of Missouri Columbia with a B.S. in Business and holds an M.B.A. from Stanford University.

Bucky is a former officer and director of the Real Estate Board of Metropolitan Kansas City and has served as President of Downtown, Inc. in Kansas City and was appointed by Missouri Governor Kit Bond as the first chairman of the Missouri Industrial Development Board. Bucky was also a member of the Kansas City Industrial Development Authority and is currently a member of the Real Estate Board of Metropolitan Kansas City and the Missouri and National Associations of Realtors, and is also a CCIM national charter member.
